New Patients at Bissell Clinic
Bissell Clinic is a welcoming place staffed by our warm, friendly team. When you arrive, our office staff will greet you. We ask that you fill your paperwork out ahead of time, which you can find on our website. Otherwise, please arrive early to do so.
Getting Started
You’ll have a consultation with your provider to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic or physical therapy is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.
Your First Visit
After we study your health history and perform your examination, we’ll make recommendations specifically for you and your condition. You’ll have your diagnosis explained as well as any relevant home care instructions.
Most of the time, patients also receive some type of care during their first visit. In certain situations, however, we may refer you for diagnostic testing, such as an X-ray or MRI before treating you. It just depends on your unique situation.
Insurance Details
We are out of network providers but are still contracted with Medicare. Payment is required at the time of the visit and we are also happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company externally. If you are a Medicare patient receiving physical therapy, we will bill Medicare and they will reimburse you directly via your explanation of benefits.
